I’m so exciting to be teaming up with my friends over at Old Navy to show you guys some of their awesome summer trends. I have been shopping at Old Navy since I was eight years old and always remembering feeling so cool and fresh when I got to splurge during back to school season at Old Navy! Now as a pretend grown up I look to them for classic staples and tailored twists on current trends. For Old Navy‘s June collection Ivory Coast the designers took the traditional cool black-and-white story and gave it an updated twist. Drawing from global influences and hand crafted African designs, this monochromatic collection weaves in soft, natural textures and angular geometric prints! I wanted to keep the look clean and tailored while still being comfortable, lightweight and polished. Pairing the artisan inspired minimal stripe back to a classic white jean helps keep the Ivory Coast trend cohesive, while the belt pulls it in for a tailored finish. Notice the styling details that elevate the look from dressed to styled. The clean front tuck is refined while the cuffed bottom is casual and effortless. The juxtaposition in the styling creates the polished, effortless chic look were after.Check out more of my favorite pieces from the Ivory Coast collection.
One of my favorite subscription box services when it comes to skincare is Facetory. Starting at $6.00 a month its hard not to want to pamper yourself a little bit with what this box has to offer. Check out what came in my April Facetory Box and let me know what you think on Instagram or Twitter @ChristianCraven
As of lately I’ve been really inspired by bohemian mens influences. I think as things are warming up down south I can’t help but to try and find ways to stay cool once our thermometers start to tap into the 100’s. I think embracing a chic, simplistic esthetic is my best bet this time around. In the mean time I fell in love with this faux suede fringe vest thats lightweight enough for spring. Paired back to a plain white tee, this is that whole simplistic chic feel I was mentioning. Finish it off with a detailed ascot and your ready to try out this updated bohemian inspired trend. I paired it back to jeans and Chelsea boots to keep it cohesive. What do you think? Let me know on Instagram @ChristianCraven
