As the weather warms up not only does my wardrobe transition but so do my fragrance choices. In the fall I prefer a fragrance thats quite warm with a vanilla musk and a cedar dry down however for spring I love a cologne that is fresh, lightweight, masculine and clean. For todays round up I have put together a list of 4 of my favorites for spring you should try out as you hit the fragrance counter this season.
My first pick is moderately new release from last year called Dior HOMME this guy is bold and refined making it perfect for my fragrance taste! Dior Homme Eau for Men is a fresh and sophisticated fragrance, the composition features incisive, spicy top notes of Moroccan grapefruit, Calabrian bergamot and Crimean coriander that evoke his uninhibited spirit. I love how this is fresh and masculine yet still inviting and charming to a potential suitor.
My next choice for Spring 2017 is brand new release in the United States and can be found exclusively at Macys. Azzaro Wanted is bold, powerful and irresistible which has made it such a coveted scent in Europe. This woody citrus and spicy scent, crafted with explosive lemon, energizing cardamom and opulent tonk a bean is the perfect combination of what I love in the fall shifted into the spring. I have been wearing this regularly for the past few weeks and have gotten multiple compliments on it every day. What good is great designer fragrance if you’re being told how fantastic it is, right? I huge standout for me with the Azzaro Wanted is that it stays on all day on skin and clothing. Nobody wants to pay for a fragrance that fades away within three hours anyway.
When it comes to an iconic spring and summer fragrance no roundup would be complete without the uni-sex fragrance that is Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue. When I’m wanting something a bit softer and light I always reach for Light Blue to do the job. Never overpowering the fragrance sits calming on the skin with an easy fade away.
Valentino Uomo has been my personal fragrance choice for the past three years and has been a staple favorite year round not only for its gorgeous bottle but its combination of coffee and vibrant myrtle. This guy is romantic and flirty yet masculine and refined. Another awesome fusion of my two favorite types of fragrances Valentino Uomo continues to be a hit for me year after year and now they have even released a stronger version in a black bottle that I need to get my hands on.
