If you have been a follower of my site for a while you know it’s not often you see many layers, so naturally when I’m in 13 degrees i’m going to take the opportunity! Im breaking it up by wearing this printed bomber to compliment the shades that are in the coats and in my bag as well. The coats compliment each other as they are in the same color pallet and make a naturally fit, an oxblood over coat would look amazing as well. While I am in NYC for fashion week I couldn’t miss the chance to do as the locals do and frolic the local spots and events going on in town. It is actress Emma Stone’s last week of performances in the Broadway revival of Cabaret also staring Alan Cumming so I knew I had to hit that. Going into the show I knew Emma started her career singing as she was originally discovered on a Vh1 singing show many years ago, however that is something most people don’t know about her. She immediately electrified as the audience when insane when the first cord of “Don’t Tell Mama” rang through the rafters and she peaked over her shoulder and threw her arm against the wall. A true Oh my god moment! I can’t wait for when the time comes for Emma Stone to do a musical movie and really show the world what she has been keeping in her back pocket. After I attend shows I always love to listen to what other audience members have to say about the show as they exit the theatre. Whats truly disappointing is that Emma gave a performance that was fresh, shocking and bold, however the only thing ticket holders could talk about was just how thin Emma Stone is in real life. While this is true its sad that her “Celebrity” seamed to have become more of the after buzz rather then the strong emotional performance she gave as the iconic, disturbed Sally Bowels. Cabaret’s new co star Sienna Miller begins shows this week and she will close the shows broadway run on March 29th! Do not miss this sexy, fun and wildly entertaining show! Check out some of my isnta’s from the show below!
