If you haven’t heard, Pepsi is continuing its expansion into the fashion world with a super cool new collaboration with Vogue Italia, designed to help celebrate the famous magazine’s 50th anniversary! I fell in love with the pieces from this collection the moment I laid my eyes on them & just had to share!
Labelled ‘The Pulse of New Talent,’ the new Pepsi x Vogue Italia collection is designed to showcase 10 cutting-edge design talents: Masha Reva (Ukraine), Stella Jean (Italy), Suno (USA), Little Shilpa (India), Plore (China), Madiyah Al Sharqi (United Arab Emirates), Au Jour Le Jour (Italy), Miuniku (India), Lulwa Al Amin (Bahrain) and William Okpo (USA)
The designers have all contributed to a 20-piece capsule collection of men’s and women’s clothing and accessories, that was presented at the Vogue Fashion Dubai Experience 2014. “We want to reward, honor and showcase creativity in all its forms, as well as the people who make it NOW. This partnership with Vogue Italia is a perfect opportunity to support a whole new generation of talent,” explained Kristin Patrick, Pepsi’s Chief Marketing Officer
The 20-piece collection includes a range of visors, tops and jackets, swimwear, outerwear and bags. “Dubai is pulsing with energy and talent; a city truly emerging as a 21st fashion capital,” said Franca Sozzani, Editor in Chief, Vogue Italia. “As a leader in the fashion industry, we continue our mission to support up and coming designers and are proud to partner with Pepsi to host these talented 10 on a global stage to share their creativity with the world,” she added.
The new collection follows the ‘Live for Now’ capsule which sold earlier this year at Colette in Paris, Liberty in London, and Bloomingdale’s in the United States. The beverage brand also teamed up with Narciso Rodriguez on the Bottletop Collection in 2014. In addition, 2014 marked the brand’s exclusive partnership for fashion collaborations with Bottletop, a British luxury accessories brand, supporting the Narciso Rodriguez (heart) Bottletop Collection.
