Ladies its time to put down the seventeen magazine and take some advice from a gay man. Going back to school is always the hard balance between dressing up, and maintaing casual chic. I personally could never understand why some girls would come to school in six inch heels, than catch the bus with bare feet. A lot of times people felt peer pressured into wearing designer brands that everyone else had. The ugly rhinestone jeans, the designer cross body and the teased hair that will leave you balding in four years. I know everyone wants to come back to school refreshed and looking their best. Looking your best doesn’t have to break the bank, and defiantly doesn’t have to be over the top.
While purchasing clothing its important to think about upcoming seasons and if the item is something that you will get wear out of. So much of the clothing I bought in high school iv donated by now. I wish I would have known what to look for then, so that I could still work it in my wardrobe now. For college students its extremely important to be thinking about this, as the work world is right around the corner.
